	Syndicate :- This is the basic representative body vested with the powers by virtue of the University Act and acts as a link with the lower level bodies on the one hand and the apex executive body on the other hand. The syndicate has the powers to appoint the following committees to transact such business of the syndicate as may be provided by the Statutes or Regulations or assigned by the Syndicate. University Finance Committee. Campus Development and Works Committee. Board of Sports & Youth Welfare. Library Committee Publication Board. Committee for appointment of paper-setters and examiners. Committee for general supervision of University Examinations and appointment of inspectors, Superintendents and other supervisory staff for examination centres. Committee for scrutiny of unfairness cases in examinations. Committee for scrutiny of complaints against question-papers/publication of results/scrutiny of marks and re-checking of results; and Any other Committee which the Syndicate may deem necessary.
