About Jammu

 right bank of the River Tawi in a series of hillocks makes a striking picture against the background of the auspicious Trikuta range of mountains in the foothills of the Pir Panjal range that separates the Jammu region from the valley of Kashmir to its north.

The sacred Shrine of Shri Vaishno Devi, as also the ancient temples and shrines of the Jammu region, draw thousands of pilgrims to them from all over the country as well as the world.
