7. 2001, October, National Seminar on "Jammu and Kashmir: The Way Ahead", organised by University of Jammu in collaboration with 16 Corps of Army. Status: Co-ordinator of Seminar and also presented a paper on "Internal Aspects of Kashmir Problem:Dynamics of Democracy and Federalism".

8. 2001, March, National Seminar on the "Issue of Autonomy in Jammu and Kashmir and Punjab", organised by the department of Political Science, Punjab University, Chandigarh. Status Participant. Presented a paper on "Issue of Autonomy in Jammu and Kashmir".

9. 2001, March, Roundtable on "Women's Empowerment: Issues, Concerns and Challenges", organised by Univeristy of Jammu in collaboration with British Council and State Women's Commission, J&K. Status organiser and participant. Presented a paper on "Impact of Militancy n Women of Jammu & Kashmir".

9. 2002, 16-21 September, participated in a National Workshop on Canadian Literature : A Multidisciplinary Approach organised by University of Jammu in collaboration with Department of Foreign Affairs of International Trade, Ottawa..

  • A Gandhian Perspective on the Kashmir Question", paper presented in two national and international seminars separately organized the department of Political science, Jammu University, Jammu; and Gandhi Darshan, Rajghat, New Delhi between October 2000 to April 2001 at University of Jammu accepted for publication at http://www.mcpr-bhu.com/introduction.htm

  • Conference organised by Academic Staff College of Shimla University and Fords Foundation United States on International Peace and Education, May 2001, Paper entitled 'Relevance on Gandhian in the 21st Century.

  • Dr.Anurag Gangal is running a voluntary forum "Conflict Transformation and Peace Awareness Programme(COPEAP)" This forum has held a National Seminar on "India's Educational Priorities' from 17th February to 19th February 2002 in collaboration with Ministry of Education, J&K State;GCW, Udhampur and Board of School Education,J&K.COPEAP also holds discussions and lectures from time to time.
