The library facility includes books
and journals. At present, there are about 5500 books
in the departmental library and ten national and
international journals are being subscribed.
The equipment facility includes Atomic Absorption
Spectrometer, Faraday magnetic system, Cryogenic
systems for superconductivity, Mettler hot stage with
Polarizing microscope, FTIR and CHNS Analyzer,
UV-visible spectrophotometer, Powder X-ray
diffractometer, Computer, Internet and Xerox
facilities are available in the department.
The Department also offers fellowship to some M.Phil.
and Ph.D. students and Merit/Merit-cum-means
scholarship to M.Sc. students.
