Building/ class rooms/Library
space: The course is being run in the Institute of Human
Genetics, University of Jammu with spacious class rooms,
laboratories for practical work, library room, seminar hall
etc.
Major Research Laboratory:
The instrumentation lab is well provided with all scientific
equipments like Thermo cycler, Automated Metaphase Analyzer,
Gel Electrophoretic system , Fluorescence Microscope, Real
time PCR, UV Transilluminaton, Lymphocyte Culture facility,
High speed Cold Centrifuge, Centrifuge Machine, Distillation
Sets, Deep Freezer ( -200C) to support both academic and
research activities in the dept.
Library: The department has
its own library accompanied with approximately 450 number of
books available in it. The students are allowed to take full
advantage of these books. In addition to this many science
and general knowledge related magazines are also available
in the library to update the students about the current
affairs.
