In addition to the class and lab work, every student is required
to go on field studies. The Department helps the students in
this exercise by organizing various collection trips within and
outside the State. The students are required to compile field
books and submit the same at the time of practical examination.
The
Department holds regular competitions in various curricular and
extracurricular activities. All the students are expected and
encouraged to participate.
