The department of Electronics
became an independent department vide university
notification no. F. Acd/l/17/6498-597 dated
20-02-2017; however the M. Sc. programme was going on
since 1995 with the department of Physics and
Electronics. The department is presently offering Ph.
D., M. Phil. and M. Sc. in Electronics besides a
3-months skill development course on Electrical
Maintenance and Repair. M. Sc. Electronics programme
has six laboratories in total with two laboratories
courses each upto 3rd semester besides one major
project in the 4th semester.
