English Literature is no longer synonymous just with British English literature but encompasses works written in English allover the world mirroring in the true sense the expression "World-a global village". Activities :-

Short and long term courses on Canadian, African, Australian andCaribean Literature from time to time. Since the inception of the Department 17 scholars have got themselves registered for Ph.D. in various topics in the field of New Literatures.
