Centre for New Literatures :-

New Literatures universal phenomenon. English Literature is no longer synonymous just with British English literature but encompasses works written in English allover the world mirroring in the true sense the expression "World-a global village". Expand your horizon, envision the societies, cultures and the issues relating to them. As a bonus also improve your chances of job placement.

Short and long term courses on Canadian, African, Australian andCaribean Literature from time to time. Since the inception of the Department 17 scholars have got themselves registered for Ph.D. in various topics in the field of New Literatures.

Specialized Library facilities with books donated by Shastri Indo Canadian Institute New Delhi, individual Canadian and Australian Professors, University of Western Sydney, Australia, University of York, Canada, Australian High Commission.
