Aim of the Department is not only
to teach the Sanskrit language and literature but
also to enrich the eternal values to preserve ancient
Indian culture.
With the establishment of Phonetic Laboratory, Department
has the objective to involve the students and scholars
with the new scientific trends to meet the modern
developments in the society.
To spread the Sanskrit language among the common people,
Department is also running Sanskrit Speaking Course.
The tradition of creativity is still alive in the
Department through research.
