The department has organized a National
Conference on sports psychology (2004)

basis during the academic year.
The department is providing counselling services
to staff, students and others from outside the
university.

to boys and girls amd their parents of rural areas
–thrice a year
Induction and Refresher Trainings provided to
HIV/AIDS Counsellors of J&K State.
Trainings conducted for supportive supervisors
for HIV/AIDS counsellors under the GFATAM project.
Workshops conducted for the students in the
department on Women, gender ,ideology and stress,
Self-defense and Behavior therapies ,Life Skills,
mental health issues, cognitive drill therapy,
Rorschach and Intelligence testing.
The department has organized a international
conference of Indian Academy of Health Psychology
(2015)
The department has organised a 21 days Inter
disciplinary refresher course in behavioural
sciences under the banner of HRDC, University of
Jammu.(11-12-2017 to 31-12-2017).
