About Department :-

The Department of Mathematics came into existence in 1966. The department has a strong faculty having their Ph.D's from USA, IIT (Kanpur), BHU, AMU, University of Jammu and TIFR (Mumbai). The faculty members have publications in the journals of national and international repute. Several faculty members have been awarded prestigious fellowships like Full bright and Commonwealth fellowships. The department has been marching ahead in the direction of excellence in teaching and research and is committed to keep its march towards this end.
