The Post-Graduate Department of Hindi,
started at Jammu in October, 1965 as a Department of
Jammu & Kashmir University and as an establishment
of a separate University
of Jammu in 1969.
The Department's endeavours are to encourage and facilitate
learners and scholars; with creative zeal to explore
new frontiers of knowledge in the fields of Research
on Hindi Language and Literature.
