How to reach University of Jammu

From Airport

Participants arriving by flights are requested to contact the Symposium reception Desk at the Airport.

Participants arriving without information to the Symposium Organizers can either contact the reception  Desk at Airport or take a Taxi/Auto to University Campus Department of Physics on arriving at Airport.

            Approximate Taxi fare    :         Rs.250/-

                                    Auto fare :        Rs.100/-

From Railway Station

Participants reaching by Train are requested to contact the Symposium Reception Desk at the Railway Station. Volunteers from the University will be available for assistance near the inquiry counter.

The Railway Station is about 3 km from University Campus and can be reached by Auto/Taxi

             Approximate Fares to University Campus

                                    Taxi fare   :       Rs. 150/-

                                    Auto fare  :      Rs.   50/-

From Bus Stand

Participants arriving by bus are advised to get  down at Vikram Chowk.  Vikram Chowk is 1 km from University Campus.  You are requested to take an Auto from there to University Campus.  Approximate fare is Rs.20/-

In case you get down at the bus stand, you are requested to hire an Auto for New Campus of Jammu University which is about 2 km away.
