""In Ph.D., I have done interdisciplinary research on entomopathogenic nematodes, which are potential biocontrol agents. My Ph.D. revolves around the first survey of Entomopathogenic nematodes and their habitat in Punjab. I reported indigenous species of nematodes from the river catchment area of river Beas, wetland (Harike, Kanjli), cropland, playgrounds, road and railway tracks.  I also evaluated the Biocontrol potential of these nematodes against Spodoptera litura. I did molecular characterization and phylogenetic analysis of these nematodes and submitted four DNA sequences in NCBI Genbank with accession numbers KX023404, KX023405, KX023406, and KX023407. I practically explored the life below the soil i.e. nematodes and various microbes, and their efficient strategies to face many challenges and hurdles in their life.
