Vidyadhar Singh, Assistant Professor

Dr. Vidyadhar Singh has appointed as a permanent faculty member in this Academic intitution in July 2010. He is presently working as senior Assistant Professor in the Department of Sanskrit, University of Jammu. He has completed his education up to the undergraduate level through traditional system. He earned his Ph. D. from the University of Jammu in 2007. His Ph. D. Research work in the area of Ancient Indian Architecture is focused on Town Planning in Ancient India on the basis of King Bhojas Samaranganasutradhara. He has worked as a Project Fellow on three UGC Major Research Projects. Under his Research supervision six candidates have been awarded M.Phil. degree and five candidates have been awarded Ph. D. degree. His two books are published by reputed National publisher and he has published research papers in several National / International reputed journals and also in edited books. He has a special interest in the teaching of Indian poetics, Grammar, Linguistics and Vastu-shastra. He is a life member of AIOC, ISBS and ABDP.
