Dr. Jeevan Jyoti has rich experience of teaching and research in business education. Her areas of interest are Strategic Human Resource Management. She has received Gold Medal for first position in M.Com. She has also received Best Business Academic of the Year (BBAY) Award in October 2010 and Manubhai M. Shah Memorial Research Award (Gold Medal) in December 2018 at All India Commerce Conference.  Five of her research papers have been awarded as the best papers in International conferences. 
Dr. Jeevan Jyoti has publications (53) in reputed national and international refereed journals (31 publications in Scopus and 24 publications in Web of Science listed journals)  like, Journal of business Research (A ranked), Personnel Review (A ranked),  Journal of Hospitality and Tourism Research (A ranked), International Journal of Contemporary Hospitality Management (A ranked), Cross Cultural Management: An International Journal (B Ranked), International Journal of Educational Management (B Ranked), IIMB Management Review(B Ranked), International Journal of Management  Concepts and Philosophy (C Ranked), Total Quality Management and Business Excellence (C Ranked),, Metamorphosis: A Journal of Management Research, Vision- Journal of Business perspective (C Ranked),, Annals of Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Journal of Services Research (C Ranked), Global Business Review (C Ranked), Sage Open and Employee Relations etc. She has to her credit four edited books and twenty five chapters in edited books. Seven of her scholars have been awarded Ph. D. degree and sixteenteen scholars have been awarded M. Phil. Degree. 
She is member board of studies of Commerce, University of Ladakh and board member of Entrepreneurship and Innovation Cell, Goenka University, Gurugram. She has been a member of SAP advisory committee (UGC SAP, DRS-III), Dept. of Commerce, University of Jammu. She is also Chairperson of Sexual Harassment Committee, Maharaja Hari Singh Agricultural Collegiate School, Nagbani, Jammu as well as chairman of “Sexual Harassment of Women at Work Place” of Maharaja Hari Singh DAV CENT. Public School Akhnoor. She has also been a member of Campus Cultural Committee, DSW, University of Jammu.
She has attended many international and national conferences as well as capacity building workshops. She has also coordinated International Conferences, National Conferences, National Scholars’ Seminar, co-directed many capacity building programmes  and many research methodology workshops . She has conducted many workshops on “How to Write a Business Plan”. She has also Chaired as well as Co-Chaired technical sessions during international conferences. She has also coordinated many departmental level events. She has been Coordinator of three Post Graduate Diplomas run by Dept. of Commerce, University of Jammu during 2015-16. She has also received a Major research project (2019-2021, grant money: 8, 50,000) from ICSSR under the  IMPRESS Scheme of MHRD India.
