Satya Paul, Professor

Chemistry

Prof. Satya Paul has completed M. Sc in organic chemistry from the Department of Chemistry, University of Jammu in 1989 and joined M. Phil, which got completed in 1991. Subsequently, he joined for Ph. D in 1992 and was awarded doctoral degree in 1996 from the Department of Chemistry, University of Jammu.

In 2000, he joined the Department of Chemistry, University of Jammu as Lecturer and became full professor in 2012.

During this period, he worked with Prof. James H. Clark, Green Chemistry Centre of Excellence, University of York from 2002-2003 as BOYSCAST fellowship.

In 2009, he joined the group of Prof. L. F. Tietze, Institute of Organic and Biomolecular Chemistry, University of Gottingen, Germany for a period of three months under INSA-DFG Bilateral Exchange programme.
