MA Economic (1999), UGC NET in Economics for lectureship (2000). Ph.D in Economics (2012), with nearly twenty years of teaching and research experience in the field of Advance Macroeconomics, Financial Institutions and Markets, Labour Economics. Research specialization in the Rural and Marginalized Economy. 38 papers published in reputed journals alongwith 54 papers presented in International/National conferences and seminars. 36 invited lectures delivered in the reputed instititutions of the country. Two Major ICSSR funded Research Projects successfuly completed with the title of  “Educational status Scheduled Castes in J&K: Attainment and challenges”  and “An institutional-Economic Analysis of Water Governance, Conflict and Cooperation in the Indus Sub Basin of J&K”. One Major (Transforming Jammu and Kashmir Post 5th August 2019: A Social, Economic and Political Analysis) and one minor ( Geo-strategic importance of North-western Borders of India) ICSSR funded Projects are ongoing.
