Dr. Mohammad Arif, Associate Professor

Dr. Mohd Arif belongs to a far flung area of Village Kala Ban of Tehsil Mendhar and Distt. Poonch. Born on 3rd of April, 1973 he got his primary and secondary education from a government school of village Kalaban (High School Gali Kala Ban). Thereafter, he did his intermediate from Higher Secondary School Chhatral (Mendhar) and B.Sc from Degree College Poonch. After doing LL.B. and LL.M from University of Jammu he qualified UGC NET and immediately after completion of LL.M got selected as Lecturer in Department of Law in the year 2006. During his employment in Department of Law as Assistant Professor he completed his Ph.D. in the year 2021. He has teaching and research experience of more than 17 years and has been guiding LL.M and Ph.D Scholars. He has a good number of publications in reputed peer reviewed and refereed journals and has made a number of presentations in various national and international conferences/ Seminars under different themes. His area of interest is ADR, Family Law, Admisnstration of Civil and Criminal Justice and Local Laws of Jammu and Kashmir.
