Sandeep Singh-Ph.D/NET is working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Lifelong Learning since 2008 and did his Ph.D. (2011) from the P.G.  Department of Political Science, University of Jammu, and the topic of the PH.D. thesis was “Nehru’s concept of Secularism and his response to communalism”. He is currently working on a minor Research project (2023) for an amount of 4,69,000/- titled: “Social-economic and educational status of SCs of District Kathua”- the project is funded by the Department of Social Welfare, Govt. of J&K and is being executed by  IIPA –Jammu branch. Earlier he also completed another minor research project (2015) on the theme “Impact of Conflict on People Residing along LoC: A Case Study of Jammu Region” funded by CDR- New Delhi.
