Satnam Kour, Professor

Prof. Satnam Kour is a Professor in the Department of English, University of Jammu with about 29 years of teaching experience and has guided 35 M.Phil and more than 25 PhD scholars. Her area of specialization is Modern and Post Modern American Fiction, African-American Women Writings and Indian Writing in English. She has published more than 40 papers in National and International Journals. She has also published 2 books, one of which was published by Sahitya Akademi. Throughout her tenure, she has successfully navigated diverse administrative roles such as Dean Student Welfare, Director, DE and OL, Principal, Institute of Music and Fine Arts, Chairperson, CASH and Convenor, Board of Studies.

Currently, Prof. Satnam Kour is the Head, Department of Psychology and Chairperson, UTSAAH, the Clubs of University of Jammu.
