Prof Monika Chadha is a Professor in the Dept of English at the University of Jammu andhas more than 20 years of teaching experience at the Post-graduate level and has also been guiding research for M Phil and Ph D. She has guided 15 M Phil dissertations and 12 Ph D theses. She has participated in many national and international conferences and seminars and has published more than 25 research papers on various aspects of Canadian, American, African and Indian Literatures in English in national and international journals. She also has a book titled, Edward Albee: The Dream and the Absurd, to her credit. Her areas of specialization include American Drama, Poetry, Literary Theory and New Literatures in English.
Additionally, Prof Monika Chadha is the Chairperson of the Campus Cultural Committee of the Universityof Jammu. As the Chairperson, she has been contributing significantly towards maintaining a vibrant and inclusive campus environment and has been instrumental in the successful implementation of Cultural and Literary Activities for the students. Her active role has helped in creating a supportive, inclusive, and dynamic campus environment, preparing students to excel academically, professionally, and personally.
