Kamal K. Kapoor received his Ph.D. degree (1996) from IIT Kanpur, India. He has joined University of Jammu as Lecturer in December 1995, where he is Professor at present. He has served as lead scientist in Dabur Research Foundation, Sahibabad (UP) and Sphaera Pharma, IMT Manesar (Haryana), as advisory consultant to Curadev Pharma Pvt Ltd, Noida and also as Adjunct Professor at the Central University of Jammu. He has authored more than 75 publications with his students and collaborators and is one of the inventors in six US patents. Several scholars have got their Ph.D (26) and M. Phil (15) degrees with his guidance and seven scholars are presently registered with him. He has received fundings from DST and UGC to support his research endeavours. At present, one CRG_SERB project on chemo-sensors is in progress with collaboration of Dr Raman Parkesh, Principal Scientist, CSIR-IMTECH, Chandigarh.
