Prof. Sucheta Pathania is the Head, Dept of English, Dean Faculty of Arts, and Convenor, Board of Studies, University of Jammu, with about 29 years of teaching experience at the post-graduate level. She has guided twenty five Ph. D theses and twenty-two M.Phil dissertations and is acclaimed for her multidisciplinary and intertextual approach and diversity of domains that she engages with. She has organized and participated in many national and international conferences and seminars and is a widely published researcher who has published in many national and international journals of repute. She has authored a book, many edited books and anthologies. Her areas of specialization include American Literature and New Literatures in English.
