Dr. Sadaf Shah earned her Ph.D degree in English from the University of Jammu. In addition to her doctorate, she holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Higher Education from IGNOU. She was invited for International Writing Programme at University of IOWA, U.S.A in 2005-06. Currently, she is working as a Professor at the Department of English, University of Jammu. She is also the Coordinator of Literary Club, University of Jammu and Associate Director of SIIEDC, University of Jammu. She is also the member Campus Cultural Committee. She has participated in numerous conferences and published 36 research papers in various journals of national and international repute. Her areas of research include New Literatures and Indian Writing in English.
