Ellora Puri,
Political Science
Dr. Ellora Puri has been on the faculty of Department of Political Science, University of Jammu, for the last 17 years. Her research interests include political violence, gender, identity politics, and Federalism. She has held several other research assignments outside the university, as well.
 
Dr. Puri has also been prominently involved in different policy related work underway in South Asia towards the end of promoting democracy and peace, both as a participant and as a researcher. In this regard, she has been most closely associated with the Institute of Jammu and Kashmir Affairs, J&K.
